Make a difference in your community this Christmas.

For many of us, Christmas is a time of joy and togetherness. But it can be a dark time for families affected by domestic abuse.

We provide practical & emotional support – and a glimmer of hope – to those who need it at Christmas. The people we help could be your friends, relatives, neighbours or co-workers. Parents you see every day on the school run. The checkout assistant at your local supermarket.

Find out how you can help us to help those in need:

Donate

We rely on donations to support families and pets in refuge, run our support centre and deliver all the other support services that we offer. Every penny donated is spent helping those in need.

FUNDRAISE

Fundraising is absolutely essential to the success of My CWA - we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do without it. There are tonnes of ways to fundraise for us. Please click the link below for ideas.

So much of what we do relies on donations and fundraising. Without supporters like you, we wouldn’t be here. So you have the right to know you can trust us to be fair, honest and treat you with respect.

When you give to My CWA, we give you our word that your money will help make a difference to a life that is affected by domestic abuse.

You can expect:

  • Not to feel under pressure to donate more than you can afford

  • Not to feel under pressure to donate more frequently than you want to

  • To choose how we contact you and change this at any time

  • To know how we are using your donation to help people affected by domestic abuse

  • To learn about how your donation helped to change lives

We promise:

  • We’ll be clear about who we are and what we do

  • We’ll be transparent about our fundraising costs

  • We’ll make sure our fundraising is legal and follows best practice

  • We’ll always use the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice as our minimum standard and go beyond it where we can

  • We’ll keep your personal details safe and secure

  • We’ll use your details in the way you have agreed to

  • We’ll be clear, honest and open

  • We’ll make our annual report and accounts easy to understand

  • If things do go wrong, we’ll listen, act and learn

  • When things go well, we’ll try to do even better – so please tell us if you like something we’ve done

From everyone at My CWA, thank you.
