Cheshire East Council Needs Your Feedback
Cheshire East Council has opened its Corporate Plan Consultation and we really need your help with submitting feedback that highlights the importance of our work throughout the region.
During a challenging climate, budgets are under pressure and – worryingly – there’s no mention of domestic abuse in this plan at all at the moment.
So if we’ve supported you or someone you know – or if you work with families affected by domestic abuse – please send your feedback to Cheshire East Council via the website.
Opportunities to highlight domestic abuse services
On page 5 in the plan – in the section titled Your Views – is the question:
What else would you like to see us focus on?
If you’d like to ensure that Cheshire East Council considers domestic abuse support services as part of this plan, this is your chance to let them know.
On page 9 in the plan – titled Challenges – there is no mention of domestic abuse.
Tackling domestic abuse is a challenge. Domestic abuse affects survivors, children, friends and family. It can impact employability, physical health, emotional wellbeing… and many other aspects of our lives.
Help us to help you and even more families across Cheshire East who’ve been affected by domestic abuse.
Thank you SO much in advance to anyone and everyone who takes a few moments to let Cheshire East Council know how we’ve helped you.
