Latest video insight talks Early Help Support - what exactly is it?

Understanding how family services provide effective support based on wellbeing for the whole family.

The sixth instalment of a series of insights videos from My CWA sees Deputy CEO Beverly Wrighton joined by Jan Cooper, a service manager for Cheshire East family service. The video considers how family services provide help to those in need.

The video helps to explain what early help support is, who might need to use it,  and how it can help families across the region.

The programme uses ‘signs of wellbeing’ so that the whole family is the centre of the plan of support. This means that children’s feelings and emotions are taken into account as well as any adult’s, ensuring they are all part of the decision making process.

Families can expect to be supported by a range of professionals; often including professionals who the family knows well, for example maybe a teacher.

Jan talks through the process, who the key people are that can help, and dissolves any worries that people may have so it is certainly worth a view.

Over the coming weeks we will be sharing more video insights to help families across our region.
