New creative project for male survivors

Domestic abuse can affect anyone. Men. Women. Children. Anyone. But some people face additional barriers to accessing support.

Just half of male victims will tell someone they’re experiencing domestic abuse. So we know how important it is that your voices are heard.

In Our Words

All of the domestic abuse survivors we work with are given the opportunity to use creativity – such as art or poetry – as part of their recovery journey.

Even those who are hesitant or lack confidence at first are often surprised at just how much creativity can help with the healing process.

In Our Words is an exciting new creative project we’re going to be working on with male domestic abuse survivors in Cheshire. We’d love you to get involved.

Tell your story

If you’re a male survivor and you’re interested in sharing your story as part of a written/oral collaboration with other survivors, email us by Friday 19th Februaryinfo@mycwa.org.uk – and we’ll send across further details.
